I've been making films since I was 10 years old. Started with a pretend cat spa. Ended up getting a Master's in Documentary Film from UC Berkeley.

Today I freelance across brand videos, event photography, cinematic reels, social media content, and commercial work for businesses, brands, nonprofits, and creators across the GTA.

The approach is always the same: find the real story, make the camera disappear, and let the moment speak.

Maarya was the ever consummate professional from beginning to end, she immediately texted me when I inquired about her online — and wanted to know thorough details about my surprise proposal to my now-fiancé.

She asked for videos of the layout and lighting of the space and brainstormed ideas on where she could hide to get the best shots without ruining the surprise. You can see for yourself how well they turned out. After the proposal itself, she guided us and the guests with a steady and gentle hand to get some great shots of guests, several of them where we posed but plenty of beautiful candid shots as well.

Absolutely LOVED working with her for our engagement pictures. We aren’t really good at posing and she took the time to adjust our positions and direct us properly which was a huge thing!! Also the pictures turned out exactly what we were going for, cinematic and romantic. It was really hard to find someone who can do that in the GTA and she really delivered.
